08.04.09 / Melford Announce Biggest Sponsorship Deal In Clubs History
Long Melford Football Club, formed in 1868, among the oldest Football Clubs in the United Kingdom, have announced a new Sponsorship deal which is the largest recorded in the long history of the Club.
LMFC Directors Colin Woodhouse and Simon Garden are delighted with the development which comes at a time when the Club, in company with large numbers of similar Clubs, has been struggling to compete at a level equal to the potential of their many talented players and which, despite the loyal support of a relatively small number of regular followers, demands that they are constantly having to juggle with limited income to meet their commitments.
It also comes at a time when Stoneylands is looking at its best for several years, following a ‘make over’ by a dedicated team of enthusiasts, led by First Team Manager, Steve Rogers, who have devoted hours of their time and displayed several hidden talents in order to ensure that, at minimal cost, both ground and facilities are attractive and functional.
TMH Telemedia was established as a company in 1988 and is, now, one of Europe’s leading media agencies with offices also in America, TMH specialise in three main areas; Ministries, Charities and Teleshopping. During its early years of trading TMH worked extensively in local Press placing media campaigns for many big national advertisers including Tesco, COI, BMW, Ford, Sainsbury’s, AA, HSBC and many more.
Following the launch of BSB Sky Digital, TMH moved their clients into the competitive medium of TV running countless successful campaigns. Their own Press Release states, ‘We listen carefully to our clients objectives and make sure those become our objectives too, carrying them out with passion. That is why we continue to be successful as an Agency."
Contact with LMFC was made through the Club Website by the CEO of TMH Telemedia Services Inc, Jason Freeman who stated that he had, ‘many years ago played football at Long Melford Football Club’ and asking whether there were any Sponsorship opportunities – a question which of course attracted an immediate response and, within a few days, an agreement was reached whereby the TMH Telemedia logo will appear on new shirts for the forthcoming season and will see the name TMH Telemedia prominently featured in various methods of advertising the activities of the Club.
Within the short space of less than two weeks the immediate, and hopefully, the long term future of Long Melford Football Club will have been transformed and a successful future lies in prospect.
